On Wednesday, we gave an update about the Ventur Cup, including the fixtures. Today we’re delighted to share when and how we’ll welcome supporters and fans to West Park Leeds.
Spectators are not allowed for the first two games. However, the club facilities will be open for West Park Leeds members who want to come for a drink served at tables in any of the outdoor seated areas, including the clubhouse balcony.
The match on Saturday 29 May between Leeds Tykes and Hull Ionians will have an admission charge of £10 for adults and free to Under 18’s. There will be no admission charges for all other Ventur Cup pool games played at West Park Leeds. Parking is free at all times.
The final will take place at Emerald Headingley Stadium on Saturday 19 June between the first and second placed teams in the pool table. The South Stand facilities will be open and admission will be £10 for adults and free for Under 18’s. If you wish to have lunch beforehand in the Emerald Suite, places are available for £50 including match admission. Please contact sales@leeds-tykes to book.
As a reminder, national social distancing restrictions will apply for indoor and outside spaces during the tournament.
After more than a year without playing, the Ventur Cup is a wonderful opportunity for players, coaches and supporters to have a measured, gradual return to rugby under the modified rules.
A reminder of the fixtures:
All matches will be played on Saturdays, kicking-off at 15:00.

West Park Leeds facilities
West Park Leeds are creating a better outside space for drinking and dining. The first six of sixteen new benches have arrived that will accommodate eighty-six people in total for the matches in May and June with the remainder due before 15th May. The area between pitches 1 and 2 at the clubhouse end is being levelled and improved. A new refreshment building will be constructed before the start of the 2021/22 season.
After a long break, we look forward to welcoming players, coaches, staff, supporters and fans old and new.
