It is regret that we announce that Harold Barrett has sadly passed away on Sunday following a short fight with Covid-19 aged 57. Harold played for Headingley FC and Leeds RUFC with heritage number 81 together with short spells at Sheffield RUFC, Roundhay RUFC and Morley RFC. He was always a great club man and colleague throughout his career and everyone describes Harold as just one of the those guys that was fun to be with..
He was a civil engineer by trade and lived in Clowne in Derbyshire.
He is shown in the picture above when 'on tour' in New Zealand in 2014 with previous team-mates Nick Green, Stuart Lancaster, Robbie Tankard, Jon Swarbrigg and Graham Chadwick.
