Leeds Tykes are delighted to announce a further five players who have re-signed for the club for the 2022/23 campaign.
They are:
- Will Hardwick
The scrum-half started 14 times, making 11 appearances off the bench, and scored 7 tries. Will won The Most Improved Player of the 2021/22 season award. - Connor Hancock, Callum’s twin brother, made 4 appearances from the bench.
- Callum Hancock, the young prop, who joined the Tykes late in the season, made 3 appearances from the bench.
Both brothers played for the Yorkshire Carnegie Junior Development Squad. - Harry Jukes
The fast winger made 25 appearances, all from the starting line up. Harry was our leading try scorer for the season with 15, opening and closing his tally against Taunton Titans. He was awarded The Colin Cramphorn Trophy for the supporters’ player of the season for 2021/22. - Kieran Davies
The outside-half made 4 starting appearances and came off the bench once before he was laid low through injury. Kieran scored 2 tries and 1 conversion during those matches.
On his re-signing Will said: “The potential of the club that was shown at the end of last year is something I want to be a part of going forward, as well as being part of such a great group of lads.”
Kieran added: “Leeds have helped me so much off the field whilst being injured the last couple of seasons and assisted in finding me full-time employment. I played a very small part in what was a massive season last year so I am so keen to give 100% to the club that’s showed 100% faith by sticking by me .”
Watch out for more news of retained players soon.
