Leeds Tykes are delighted to announce that loose-head prop, Alex Pleasants, has committed to the club for the 2022/23 season. Alex joined on loan from Wasps during the last campaign and has previously played for Amptill.
On permanently joining Leeds Tykes, Alex said: “I really enjoyed my time with the Tykes last year and I’m very happy to continue to be part of the team. I’m confident in the coaching and grateful for the opportunity to play and be part of a great bunch of people.”
Jon Callard, Director of Rugby, shared this about the recent signings we’ve announced: “I’m pleased with the acquisitions we’ve made. Not just on the field, bringing in Rob Rawlinson and James Phillips too to bolster and add to the dynamics of how we want to play the game.
“They are all aspirational, they want to push themselves to their utmost and look beyond National League 1. We are trying to grow all the time to compete in National 1, although the vision is to move on.”
